The Central Mississippi Chapter is the largest local chapter for Mississippi State University. Because of the size of the Chapter, most of our work is handled by a Board of Directors that is made up of MSU residents from Hinds, Madison, and Rankin Counties. The Board's goal is to support and promote MSU in the Central Mississippi area, raise funds for scholarships, recruit students to MSU, engage alumni involvement and serve the community. To accomplish this goal, our Chapter plans many events and activities throughout the year.  The funds from these events allows the Chapter to award scholarships to deserving high school and community college students from the Tri-County area. It also allows us to actively recruit students to MSU by exposing them to all that MSU has to offer prospective students.

Our Chapter is proud to announced that for all the hard work and dedication of our members, we were awarded the Bronze Cowbell at this year's MSU Leadership Conference.
